Lisa M. Oak – Managing Director

Lisa Oak has been the Managing Director of Franchise Brands, LLC since its creation in 2005. In her position, she oversees the acquisition, incubation and expansion of all new properties in the Franchise Brands portfolio.

Previously, Lisa served as co-Director of Development for Doctor’s Associates Inc. the SUBWAY^® franchisor, from 1999 - 2005. During that span, she was responsible for all phases of development of SUBWAY^® restaurants worldwide. In addition, Lisa was responsible for real estate for the SUBWAY^® sandwich chain. In her capacity as President of Subway Real Estate Corp. from 1989 through 2005, the SUBWAY^® brand grew from 1,000 units to 25,000, expanding from a dominate domestic chain to an international player in the quick serve arena, serving SUBWAY^® sandwiches in more than 80 countries.

In addition, Lisa has served on the DAI Management Committee since 1988.

Lisa earned a JD degree from Quinnipiac University (FKA the University of Bridgeport) School of Law in Connecticut and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drew University in New Jersey.
